Description

As a Home Health Aide with BAYADA, you'll provide personal care, household support, and companionship to help adults stay safe and independent at home. You'll follow a written care plan by a registered nurse and develop close relationships with clients while assisting with daily living activities.

Requirements

• Previous home health care or patient care welcomed but not required
• Passion for caregiving and desire to help others
• Commitment to being present and providing quality care
• Empathy, patience, kindness, and respect
• Ability to travel to clients' homes as assigned

Responsibilities

• Help with activities of daily living: bathing, grooming, toileting, nail care
• Provide household support: light housekeeping, laundry, bed making
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding
• Support range of motion exercises and ambulation (transfers, mechanical lifts)
• Medication reminders
