You'll lead the Rubrik Backup Service (RBS) development team, owning the end-to-end lifecycle of a cross-platform backup agent. Your core impact will be driving architecture, team growth, and operational excellence for enterprise-grade software deployed globally. This role offers the chance to modernize a critical component while mentoring a talented engineering team.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead and mentor a team of systems engineers across Windows, Linux, and Unix.
• Own architecture and development of the backup agent system service.
• Manage sprint planning, standups, code reviews, and release sign-offs.
• Act as escalation point for high-priority customer defects and patches.

📋 Requirements

• 8-10+ years of software development experience with systems-level programming.
• 2-3+ years in an engineering management or technical leadership role.
• Proven experience with cross-platform development on Windows, Linux, and Unix.
• Solid understanding of distributed systems and secure communication protocols.

• Experience with backup/recovery, data protection, or storage infrastructure.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and test automation frameworks.
