You'll join the Operational Excellence team to reduce incidents and improve reliability across GetYourGuide's engineering organization. You'll partner with product teams to prevent incidents and resolve them faster, driving observability and cost efficiency. This role stands out for its focus on AI-powered incident response and a blameless culture.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead post-incident reviews and drive systemic improvements
• Build Datadog-based observability dashboards and alerting
• Design paved paths for development and incident response
• Partner with product teams to improve system design and testability

📋 Requirements

• Deep understanding of observability tooling like Datadog
• Proven experience reducing MTTD, MTTR, and change failure rate
• Strong coding skills in Java
• Experience with Kubernetes, AWS, and service mesh technologies
