Description

As an Online Tech Programmer Intern at Guerrilla Games, you will work on meaningful projects impacting live games, building internal tooling for dynamic configuration, and gaining hands-on experience with backend services, cloud infrastructure, and monitoring. You'll collaborate with industry leaders and receive dedicated mentorship.

Requirements

• Currently studying a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• Foundational knowledge of Java
• Basic understanding of web technologies (HTTP, REST APIs)
• Comfortable with version control systems such as Git
• Passion for gaming and interest in online systems

Responsibilities

• Build internal tooling for dynamic configuration management across live services
• Work on frontend development, backend services, and cloud infrastructure
• Develop, test, and maintain services in a zero downtime environment
• Implement instrumentation for monitoring and logging service health
• Collaborate with engineers to learn about Kubernetes, scalability, and best practices
