Description

You will collaborate with clinical trial participants to understand their needs and engineer brain-computer interface software systems. You'll take the lead in creating innovative applications, implementing new features, and resolving issues to enhance functionality, working with a multidisciplinary team.

Requirements

• Strong experience with full-stack development; native (desktop/Android/iOS) preferred
• Strong OS knowledge: low latency concurrency, memory management, networking
• Fluent in Swift, Objective-C, Kotlin, or Java
• Experience architecting maintainable, performant user-facing applications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and validate software systems
• Work with cross-functional teams to design new BCI functionalities and novel computer user interfaces
• Work with study participants to iterate on and refine software
• Mentor others through code review, design review, and technical presentations
• Write algorithms to decode brain activity and design brain control user experiences
