💼 About This Role

You'll support the MLRO in ensuring compliance with UAE virtual assets regulations (VARA). Your core impact involves implementing AML/CFT frameworks and coordinating with regulators. This role offers exposure to global compliance processes at a leading crypto exchange.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Implement and maintain AML/CFT compliance framework aligned with UAE regulations
• Oversee transaction monitoring alerts and investigate suspicious activity
• Draft Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs) for submission to UAE FIU
• Support development and tuning of automated monitoring systems

📋 Requirements

• 8+ years in compliance, AML/CFT, or regulatory affairs in financial services
• Experience with UAE regulators (VARA, CBUAE, SCA, FSRA)
• Proficiency in compliance tools and case management systems
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Law, Business Administration, or related discipline

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with blockchain forensics platforms (Chainalysis, Elliptic)
• Knowledge of FATF standards and virtual asset regulations
