Description

In this role, you will design, develop, and evaluate instructional materials for graduate-level courses at the Naval Postgraduate School. You will collaborate with faculty to create engaging learning experiences using instructional technologies and ensure materials meet academic and accessibility standards.

Requirements

• 5 years experience in instructional design or instructional technology in higher education
• MA/MS degree in education, instructional design, or related field
• Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust clearance
• Experience partnering with faculty for remote or distance-learning course design
• Strong understanding of adult learning theories, especially in STEM

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and revise instructional materials for in-person, hybrid, and distance-learning courses
• Apply instructional design methodologies and adult learning principles to support academic program goals
• Collaborate with faculty to translate subject-matter expertise into engaging learning experiences
• Conduct quality assurance reviews and assess instructional effectiveness
• Integrate instructional technologies, multimedia, and digital learning tools to enhance course delivery
