Description

You will own the architecture, design, development, testing, and delivery of a complex communications and compute payload for interplanetary missions. Leading a small team, you'll balance rapid prototyping with rigorous engineering to create a flight-ready system.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Physics or related field
• 10+ years experience in design and delivery of complex electrical systems
• Hands-on leadership in RF and/or compute-heavy projects
• Full lifecycle experience from architecture through delivery of a complex multi-disciplinary system

Responsibilities

• Own architecture, design, development, testing, and delivery of communications payload
• Lead a small team of subject matter experts in communications, compute, power, and thermal
• Conduct hands-on development campaigns to evaluate technologies and derisk interfaces
• Collaborate across internal and external teams to deliver flight-ready hardware
• Balance agility and rigor moving from analysis to prototypes to flight systems
