Description

You will focus on automation and manual testing of AKKO's device insurance software products, ensuring they meet business requirements and deliver a user-friendly experience. Your primary role involves writing and maintaining automated tests and triaging failures, with some manual testing for new initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field
• 3+ years in software testing with functional/regression and test design techniques
• 2+ years focused on test automation, including scalable frameworks and CI integration
• Proficiency with Cypress and JavaScript/TypeScript; API testing with Postman/Newman
• Experience with CI/CD (GitHub Actions/CircleCI/GitLab), Git, and Docker

Responsibilities

• Define risk-based test plans and acceptance criteria with Product/Engineering
• Build and maintain automated tests (Cypress/TypeScript) across E2E, integration, and API layers
• Implement and own CI/CD test gates with parallelization and pass/fail signals
• Perform targeted manual/exploratory testing for new features and UX flows
• Coordinate with engineers to reproduce, triage, and debug issues
