You'll lead the architectural design and implementation of a next-generation durable execution platform for Coupang's workflow systems, aiming for 5-6 nines availability. This greenfield team builds a highly scalable, fault-tolerant system from scratch, impacting hundreds of millions of dollars in revenue.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead end-to-end design of a distributed workflow engine
• Define extreme availability with 5-6 nines uptime
• Integrate AI/ML for predictive scaling and self-healing
• Solve distributed locking, timers, and deterministic execution

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in CS, EE, Math, or related field
• 6+ years of backend software development experience
• Proficiency in Java and Spring Framework
• Experience with AWS and building highly available distributed systems

✨ Nice to Have

• 10+ years of software development experience
• Proven track record of 5-6 nines availability
• Expertise in Temporal or Cadence programming models
