💼 About This Role

You'll lead structural design and analysis for hypersonic and advanced vehicle programs at Ursa Major, a leader in aerospace propulsion. You'll own clean-sheet design of airframe and propulsion-adjacent structures from concept through flight. This role offers a hybrid or on-site work arrangement in Berthoud, Colorado.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Perform structural sizing, trade studies, and margin assessments
• Design primary and secondary vehicle structures for hypersonic vehicles
• Conduct structural analysis including static, dynamic, and vibration loads
• Support test planning, execution, and failure investigations

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering or related field
• 5+ years of experience in vehicle structures or airframe engineering
• Proficiency with FEA tools (NASTRAN, Abaqus, ANSYS)
• Experience supporting hypersonic, missile, or space vehicles

✨ Nice to Have

• Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering
• Familiarity with high-temperature materials and TPS integration
• 3+ years of PTC Creo or Siemens NX CAD
