💼 About This Role

You'll design and implement internal AI tools that integrate with Salesforce, NetSuite, and Zendesk at Confluent. You'll own the architecture and write production code, building secure AI integrations that read/write to core platforms. This hybrid role combines software architecture, lead engineering, and business partnership to turn vague problems into reliable AI solutions.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and build AI integrations that read/write to Salesforce, NetSuite, or Zendesk.
• Architect secure data flow between LLM providers and internal data with permission controls.
• Write production-ready backend code using agent frameworks like LangChain or ADK.
• Implement RAG pipelines with vector databases and deploy services via CI/CD on cloud.

📋 Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering with Python and REST API design.
• 2+ years building LLM-powered applications or agents (e.g., LangChain, ADK).
• Experience with vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, pgvector) and unstructured text pipelines.
• Hands-on experience deploying services on AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Experience integrating with Salesforce, NetSuite, or Zendesk.
• Hands-on experience with GCP Vertex AI features (Agent Engine, RAG Engine).
