💼 About This Role

You'll join a small, flat organization to deeply integrate xAI's AI infrastructure into a platform used by 600 million monthly users. You'll transform the video product experience including playback, live streaming, and calls. This role offers the chance to work with cutting-edge AI tools and contribute to large-scale systems.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Build the next generation of large-scale video services
• Rebuild core media processing and distribution pipelines in Rust, C++ or Go
• Ensure end-to-end media quality and performance at scale

📋 Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience
• High performance C++ or Go proficiency
• In-depth knowledge of WebRTC or LL-HLS or video transcoding pipelines
• Experience building scalable distributed systems

✨ Nice to Have

• Proficiency in Go, C++, Rust, Java, Scala
• Experience with Kubernetes, FoundationDB, ValKey, Envoy, S3
• Knowledge of video codecs and streaming protocols
