💼 About This Role

You'll build and scale centralized data infrastructure at OpenGov, the leader in AI and ERP for local government. Your work will power analytics and AI for 2,000+ communities, creating a self-service data platform that federated teams rely on.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Build and maintain core Snowflake, dbt, and AWS/Fivetran stack
• Lead ELT/ETL pipeline implementation for analytical and AI/ML use cases
• Develop CI/CD pipelines and dbt Mesh structures for federated teams
• Manage data environment using Terraform/GitHub for scalability and security

📋 Requirements

• 8+ years in data engineering or platform engineering
• Strong experience with Snowflake platform (clustering, micro-partitions, optimization)
• Experience with dbt project modularity
• Proficiency in Python and SQL for data transformation and Snowflake optimization

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with data cataloging tools like DataHub
• Familiarity with Airflow or Dagster for orchestration
• Streaming exposure with Kafka or Snowpipe
