Description

As a Solutions Architect at Planet, you will design and architect solutions using remote sensing and geospatial technologies to help customers derive long-term value from our satellite data platform. You'll lead workshops, prototype applications, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful customer outcomes.

Requirements

• Background in remote sensing, geoscience, or geoinformatics.
• 4+ years of relevant work experience in a technical geospatial or remote sensing role.
• Bachelor's degree in GIS, Computer Science, Remote Sensing, Geography, or related field.
• Extensive programming ability with Python for geospatial applications.
• Experience with solution design, requirement gathering, and prototyping.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and pilot solutions transforming customer requirements into robust solution architectures.
• Deliver workshops, tailored demo-apps, and workflows, designing user experiences for solution prototyping.
• Support pre-sales and customer expansions on solution ideation using remote sensing and geospatial knowledge.
• Act as technical lead in Agile solution development teams.
• Liaise with cross-functional stakeholders for architecting best solutions.
