Description

You will lead the CI and Build Infrastructure team at Affirm, overseeing the design and optimization of development pipelines to ensure reliability, scalability, and efficiency. Your work enables engineers across the company to ship high-quality software quickly and confidently.

Requirements

• Proven experience leading engineering teams in CI/CD, build systems, or developer productivity
• Strong background in modern build/test automation tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, CircleCI, Buildkite, Bazel)
• Familiarity with cloud-native environments (AWS, GCP, Kubernetes) and infrastructure-as-code
• Solid programming background (Python, Kotlin, Java, or similar)
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills

Responsibilities

• Define and drive vision for CI and developer productivity infrastructure
• Lead and mentor a team of CI engineers
• Own design, scalability, and reliability of build pipelines
• Optimize build times, test coverage, and developer feedback cycles
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and incident response for CI systems
