💼 About This Role

You'll design and implement decentralized networking systems for secure AI infrastructure in public sector environments. You'll build robust sync frameworks using content addressable storage and Merkle trees. This role focuses on P2P engineering rather than blockchain, working with Rust on edge-to-cloud systems.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and implement synchronization and networking systems in Rust
• Architect data sync using Merkle trees, CRDTs, and erasure coding
• Lead performance tuning of distributed software under constrained conditions
• Collaborate with MLOps and security teams for air-gapped deployments

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years in backend systems languages (C++, C, Go, Rust)
• Active US security clearance or eligibility and willingness to obtain
• Experience with peer-to-peer or decentralized networking frameworks
• Ability to travel 25% of the time for on-site customer work

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with IPFS or torrent-like systems
• Knowledge of cryptographic primitives and secure key management
• Experience with content addressable storage
