Description

You will lead regulatory and policy strategy for SpaceX's Starlink Mobile satellite network, advocating for spectrum and telecom policies to enable global cellular connectivity from space. This role involves working with international regulators and developing advocacy pieces to advance SpaceX's business objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 3+ years of experience in policy or at a technology company
• 3+ years in telecommunications policy or regulatory role at a tech company in wireless/mobile industry (preferred)
• Expert knowledge of technology and policy issues for wireless/satellite companies (preferred)
• Strong knowledge of wireless or satellite industry practices and/or spectrum (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Lead regulatory strategy and policy development end-to-end for successful outcomes on accelerated timelines
• Advocate to optimize prospective satellite and telecoms regulatory frameworks and policy environments
• Develop and advocate for broadband and mobile spectrum policies furthering business objectives
• Represent company positions in international fora, including regulatory agencies and industry forums
• Develop powerful advocacy pieces incorporating technical analysis with technical leads
