Description

In this role, you will lead on-site startup, commissioning, and maintenance of rotary UPS systems, working with generators, flywheels, and controls. You will troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical issues, train junior technicians, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-performance power solutions for data centers, hospitals, and industrial facilities.

Requirements

• Advanced technical expertise and hands-on field experience with rotary UPS, generators, flywheels, and electrical control systems
• Strong mechanical aptitude and leadership skills
• Ability to travel up to 75% to customer sites
• Experience commissioning complex power systems in data centers, hospitals, or industrial facilities
• Proficiency in troubleshooting using a scientific step-by-step process

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site startup, commissioning, and preventative maintenance of RUPS systems including generator and flywheel validation
• Perform functional and load bank testing, system synchronization, and validation
• Troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical issues related to generators, flywheels, switchgear, control systems, fuel systems, and coupling assemblies
• Interface with clients, contractors, and internal teams during commissioning; ensure documentation is accurate and timely
• Train junior field service technicians on startup, commissioning, troubleshooting, and safety protocols
