💼 About This Role

You'll design and analyze mechanical systems for satellite structures and components at a fast-growing space startup. Your work will directly enable scalable manufacturing of spacecraft buses that power earth observation and communications missions.

🎯 What You'll Do

  • Develop mechanical designs and models for satellite structures and subsystems.
  • Conduct structural analyses using FEA and hand calculations.
  • Optimize designs for weight, materials, and manufacturability.
  • Participate in assembly, integration, and testing of satellite hardware.

📋 Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • 1-3+ years of experience in mechanical design and analysis, preferably aerospace.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (NX, SolidWorks) for 3D modeling.
  • Strong understanding of structural analysis including FEA and hand calculations.

  • Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Knowledge of environmental testing (statics, vibration, thermal vacuum).
