Description

You will ensure the performance and safety of the world's largest satellite constellation by detecting anomalies, developing operational processes, writing software for satellites, and building ground systems. Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineers to deliver high-reliability network connectivity.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in STEM (CS, EE, aerospace, physics, or related)
• 1+ years experience with Python, SQL, and/or bash scripting
• Experience with interdisciplinary engineering projects involving hardware and software
• Ability to work extended hours or weekends as needed
• Ability to work on-call on a weeklong rotational schedule

Responsibilities

• Detect and triage anomalies on satellite bus and payload hardware
• Develop operational processes for new satellite versions and performance targets
• Write software to automate fault detection and response on satellites
• Develop ground software systems for managing vehicle state and commanding
• Work with engineers from adjacent disciplines to deliver high-performance connectivity
