Description

You will ensure our policies, operations, and workflows align with financial partner needs, identifying and assessing regulatory and partnership risks. You'll advise operational teams on scalable processes to maintain compliance and mitigate financial crime risks, contributing to Stripe's mission of safely increasing internet GDP.

Requirements

• 5+ years in risk management, compliance, or financial operations
• Understanding of FinCrime red flags and typologies
• Experience developing/implementing process improvements
• Analytical with reasoned decision-making in complex situations
• Effective communication and writing skills

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate sound judgment in non-binary, high-risk decisions
• Adhere to process while suggesting improvements balancing user experience with compliance
• Communicate effectively with internal teams, users, and financial partners
• Identify financial crime risks, conduct reviews using data analysis, monitor suspicious activity
• Facilitate redesign of business processes for efficiency, control, and compliance
