Description

You will work across a deep slice of our system, maintaining and enhancing the services that power the heart of our CI/CD platform. You'll design new features, automate legacy processes, and debug complex distributed systems to ensure jobs run reliably at scale.

Requirements

• 3-5 years professional developer experience building reliable distributed systems
• Proficiency in Go (primary language) and familiarity with bash, JavaScript, Clojure
• Experience deploying into Kubernetes
• Familiarity with observability tools like Honeycomb, Datadog, Rollbar
• Experience with AI-assisted development workflows and DevOps tools like Packer, Ansible

Responsibilities

• Improve and automate legacy build processes for machine images, convenience images, and certified orbs
• Design and build new features, simplify existing services, and automate and scale systems
• Write sustainable, testable, high-quality, high-performance code
• Support, maintain, and debug production microservices in a highly complex distributed system
• Champion a culture of observability and monitoring using operational data to improve stability and performance
