💼 About This Role

You'll join AngelList's Intelligence team to build systems that power retrieval, semantic search, and AI-driven features for private market data. You'll design and operate Go-based services that turn proprietary signals into product features, working with one of the deepest private-market datasets in the world.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and operate OpenSearch-backed retrieval and semantic search systems.
• Build agent orchestration, model integrations, and safety layers for LLM workflows.
• Prototype new AI-driven features and productionize them in a Go-first codebase.
• Own large features end-to-end and improve testing, observability, and operations.

📋 Requirements

• 4+ years building large-scale web applications or backend services.
• Proficient in writing production-quality Go (Golang) code.
• Experience with production search systems like OpenSearch or Elasticsearch.
• Excited about LLMs, agents, and retrieval, with ability to productionize prototypes.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with LLM APIs, tokenizers, or cloud GenAI SDKs.
• Has started a meaningful project (startup, open-source, etc.) independently.
