💼 About This Role

You'll build the next-generation transaction system and storage engine for Snowflake's Data Cloud. You'll solve real business needs at large scale by designing highly-parallel and fault-tolerant distributed systems. Your work will directly impact trillions of requests per day across analytics, AI, and container workloads.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and implement high-performance APIs and DDL transactions
• Build decentralized caching system for terabytes of metadata
• Analyze and resolve performance and scalability bottlenecks
• Ensure operational readiness and availability of services

📋 Requirements

• 10+ years experience designing large-scale production systems
• Strong distributed systems fundamentals
• Fluency in Java or similar object-oriented language
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent

• Masters or PhD in Computer Science
