Description

You will join Oscar Health's Medical Cost Analytics team to analyze medical costs, understand trend drivers, project financial outcomes, and identify cost savings opportunities. You'll partner with leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial projections and drive business decisions.

Requirements

• College degree in STEM field: Economics, Actuarial Science, Health Economics, Biostatistics, Health Informatics, Health Services Research
• 4+ years of quantitative analysis experience using SQL
• Demonstrable track record of building analytics that drive business decisions

Responsibilities

• Maintain sophisticated models to forecast financial impact of proposed clinical and payment policy changes
• Conduct sensitivity analyses and stress testing on models
• Perform in-depth analysis of integrated claims and operational data to identify cost and trend drivers
• Accomplish retrospective studies to measure actual financial and clinical outcomes
• Create executive-ready visualizations tailored to different stakeholder audiences
