💼 About This Role

You'll join the mobile engineering team at Freetrade to build and maintain the Android app that powers investment decisions for thousands of UK customers. You'll implement new features like JISA accounts and a rewards hub, working closely with design, product, and QA. This role offers a chance to shape the future of retail investing in a fast-growing fintech.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Contribute to new features and maintain existing Android app features
• Ensure high performance, quality, security, and responsiveness
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and ship features
• Write tests, participate in code reviews, and fix bugs

📋 Requirements

• 4-5 years developing production-grade mobile applications
• Strong understanding of mobile architectural patterns (MVVM or MVI)
• Experience with Kotlin, Dagger, and Jetpack libraries
• Familiarity with Jetpack Compose for building composable UI

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with reactive libraries like coroutines or Rx
• Understanding of Human Interface Guidelines
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like CircleCI
