💼 About This Role

You'll design and build power infrastructure for high-density AI supercomputing facilities at xAI. Your work will directly enable massive-scale AI training through reliable electrical systems. This role offers hands-on impact in a flat, engineering-focused organization.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design electrical systems for power generation, transmission, and battery storage.
• Develop single-line diagrams, protection schematics, and interconnection designs.
• Perform power system studies using ETAP, PSS/E, or equivalent.
• Support equipment specification, commissioning, and energization.

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or electrical engineering technology.
• Experience with battery storage systems (BESS, PCS, BMS) or power transmission (substations, grid interconnection) or power generation (gas turbines, synchronization).
• Knowledge of NERC, IEEE, NEC, and related standards.
• Ability to work onsite in Memphis and travel up to 50%.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with hyperscale data centers or large power infrastructure over 50 MW.
• Familiarity with ERCOT reliability standards and utility interconnection.
• Track record of innovation in power infrastructure projects.
