You'll own the end-to-end EMI/EMC engineering lifecycle for airborne platforms, translating complex electromagnetic requirements into measurable subsystem specifications. Your leadership will ensure mission-critical defense platforms operate flawlessly in contested environments. This role involves advanced electromagnetic modeling to optimize antenna placement and mitigate interference.

๐ŸŽฏ What You'll Do

  • Own end-to-end EMI/EMC engineering for an airborne platform.
  • Translate platform-level requirements into subsystem-level EMI/EMC specifications.
  • Lead EM modeling and simulation using CST, FEKO, HFSS.
  • Define and execute EMI/EMC test campaigns.

๐Ÿ“‹ Requirements

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience in EMI/EMC engineering for airborne platforms.
  • Strong understanding of electromagnetic theory (transmission lines, antennas, shielding).
  • Hands-on experience with EM simulation tools for antenna placement and coupling.

  • Experience with MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-464, DO-160, STANAG.
  • Familiarity with NATO/STANAG or national military airworthiness frameworks.
  • Experience with composite structures and lightning protection.
