💼 About This Role

You'll oversee financial reporting and close processes for corporate and project entities at a top Canadian real estate developer. You'll ensure GAAP compliance and drive process improvements to support a $3B+ development portfolio.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Manage month- and year-end close processes to meet deadlines
• Prepare complex reconciliations and resolve variances
• Maintain general ledger integrity with journal entries
• Support audits, tax filings, and budgeting/forecasting

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• CPA designation or in progress
• 4-6 years progressive accounting experience
• Working knowledge of GAAP

✨ Nice to Have

• Real estate/construction experience
• Proficiency in Sage, QuickBooks, TimberScan, or ERP systems
• Power BI or other reporting tools
