You'll validate satellite survivability for launch and LEO by owning end-to-end test campaigns. You'll directly impact mission readiness in a fast-paced space startup. This night shift role offers a 10% pay premium and hands-on work with cutting-edge test infrastructure.
🎯 What You'll Do
- Perform TVAC, vibration, and shock testing on satellites.
- Coordinate logistics with engineering teams and external facilities.
- Oversee environmental test vendors during off-site campaigns.
- Support test instrumentation and data acquisition setup.
- Analyze test data and provide feedback to design groups.
📋 Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering.
- 3+ years hands-on environmental testing experience.
- Working knowledge of NASA GEVS or MIL-STD-810.
- Proficiency with TVAC chambers and vibration tables.
✨ Nice to Have
- Experience testing satellites or spacecraft.
- Knowledge of aerospace materials in vacuum/thermal environments.
- Proficiency in MATLAB, Python, or LabVIEW.
