Description

You will build tools and frameworks to defend against advanced AI-enabled cyber threats, working at the intersection of AI capabilities research, cybersecurity, and policy. Your work will inform company decisions, shape policy discourse, and prepare the world for increasingly powerful AI systems.

Requirements

• Deep expertise in cybersecurity or security research
• Experience with LLM-based agents or autonomous systems
• Strong software engineering skills, particularly in Python
• Ability to own end-to-end problems and iterate quickly
• Commitment to AI safety and comfort with sensitive projects

Responsibilities

• Develop systems, tools, and frameworks for AI-empowered cybersecurity (e.g., vulnerability discovery, malware detection, network hardening, pentesting)
• Design and run experiments to elicit and evaluate autonomous AI cyber capabilities in realistic scenarios
• Design and build infrastructure for evaluating AI systems in security environments
• Translate technical findings into demonstrations for policymakers and the public
• Collaborate with external experts in cybersecurity, national security, and AI safety
