Description

As an HVAC Technician on the Starlink Facilities team, you will maintain and repair critical HVAC infrastructure that supports the world's most advanced satellite constellation and internet service. You will work on air handlers, chilled water systems, cooling towers, and more, collaborating with engineering teams to ensure peak operating conditions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate
• 5+ years professional experience with HVAC, pneumatic, mechanical, or electrical systems
• Ability to work all shifts, overtime and/or weekends as needed
• Ability to stand, kneel, crouch, twist, work in cramped positions, climb, lift 25 lbs., and work on ladders/lifts at elevated heights
• Ability to work in environment with fumes, odors, and noise

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair HVAC support equipment (air handlers, chilled water, condenser pumps, cooling towers, valves, filters)
• Maintain preventative maintenance schedule on building HVAC systems
• Collaborate with engineering teams and leaders to maintain systems in peak operating condition
• Perform ductwork modifications, brazing, soldering, evacuation and charging of refrigerants
• Perform water piping and insulation modifications and repairs
