Description

You will build and maintain the multi-cloud network infrastructure that enables secure communication between MongoDB's services. You'll collaborate with service teams, design reliable service mesh and load balancing, and participate in an on-call rotation to ensure high availability.

Requirements

• 10+ years experience working on software and operating distributed systems
• Deep expertise in networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, TLS/mTLS, BGP, tunnels, overlays, SDN
• Intimate familiarity with modern cloud-based infrastructure and network design of AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Strong knowledge of service mesh and load-balancing concepts in multi-cloud environments

Responsibilities

• Participate in development of reliable, resilient multi-cloud globally-connected network
• Collaborate with service-owning teams on technical issues and best practices for connectivity
• Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation to resolve network and connectivity issues
