Description

You will build and lead the International Accounting team in Bangalore, overseeing legal entity controllership processes, monthly close, and audits. You'll drive process improvements and collaborate with global teams to support Stripe's financial operations.

Requirements

• 12-15+ years of public accounting and/or industry experience
• Big 4 exposure to audit, accounting, and risk reviews
• Led accounting teams in a multi-location environment
• B.Com/M.Com in Accounting or Finance; CA/CPA strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and Excel

Responsibilities

• Build, develop, and lead the International Accounting Controllership team
• Perform monthly/quarterly close activities including journal entries and reconciliations
• Identify inefficiencies and propose process improvements
• Partner with Billing, Treasury, Tax, and Legal on reporting issues
• Define and execute internal control documentation and sign-off procedures
