Description
In this role, you will serve as the primary legal partner to the HR department, advising on employment matters across the employee lifecycle. You will manage a complex docket of litigation and pre-litigation issues, draft and negotiate employment agreements, and provide clear, practical counsel to business leaders.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of employment law experience
- Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws
- Experience managing a varied caseload with competing priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- JD from accredited law school and active bar membership
Responsibilities
- Serve as go-to legal contact for HR on all employment matters
- Advise on compliance with federal and state employment laws
- Manage litigation including ADA, discrimination, wage and hour, restrictive covenant
- Draft, review, and negotiate employment agreements and policies
- Partner with outside counsel and manage relationships
