Description

In this role, you will serve as the primary legal partner to the HR department, advising on employment matters across the employee lifecycle. You will manage a complex docket of litigation and pre-litigation issues, draft and negotiate employment agreements, and provide clear, practical counsel to business leaders.

Requirements

  • At least 6 years of employment law experience
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws
  • Experience managing a varied caseload with competing priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • JD from accredited law school and active bar membership

Responsibilities

  • Serve as go-to legal contact for HR on all employment matters
  • Advise on compliance with federal and state employment laws
  • Manage litigation including ADA, discrimination, wage and hour, restrictive covenant
  • Draft, review, and negotiate employment agreements and policies
  • Partner with outside counsel and manage relationships
