Description

As a Senior Financial Analyst on Altruist's growing FP&A team, you'll own core management reporting and forecasting across revenue, OpEx, headcount, and vendors. You will build monthly reporting packages, drive forecast accuracy, and provide data-backed insights to senior leadership, while also contributing to ad-hoc product and strategic analytics.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in FP&A, Finance, or Accounting, ideally in B2B financial services or FinTech.
• Demonstrated experience in management reporting, OpEx and headcount analysis, and forecasting; exposure to revenue or product analytics is a plus.
• Strong financial modeling skills and comfort with large, complex data sets.
• High proficiency in Excel and Google Suite; experience with modern FP&A tools (e.g., Netsuite, Abacum) and familiarity with BI tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• B.A./B.S. in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Own core management reporting: prepare monthly Revenue Flash, MBR, and executive reporting packages with narratives on performance and variances.
• Lead OpEx and headcount reporting, partnering with budget owners to explain variances and recommend actions.
• Maintain accurate headcount and vendor reporting, including hiring plans and run-rate impacts.
• Maintain and update OpEx and headcount forecasts in Abacum, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business expectations.
• Serve as a trusted partner to functional leaders on budgets, investments, and trade-offs.
• Translate financial results into actionable insights for non-financial stakeholders.
• Support ad-hoc analysis on product performance, revenue drivers, pricing, and unit economics.
• Contribute to special projects like strategic initiatives, board materials, and investment cases.
• Help refine management reporting, KPIs, and dashboards in partnership with Business Intelligence.
