💼 About This Role

You'll manage produce supplier relationships and ensure warehouse stock of highest quality seasonal produce. Your core impact is balancing quality, cost, and availability while running triage for urgent issues. This role is the hub between growers, merchandising, marketing, and operations.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Manage day-to-day purchasing, pricing, promotions, and assortment for assigned categories.
• Set up and optimize supply agreements, negotiating market and seasonal pricing with suppliers.
• Coordinate creation and launch of new items with merchandising and marketing teams.
• Cross-functionally collaborate on promotional, pricing, and merchandising strategy.

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years relevant industry work experience in fresh grocery retail, distribution, or purchasing.
• 2+ years experience in category management and/or purchasing, preferably in produce industries.
• 2+ years experience as a people leader.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with e-commerce.
• Knowledge of food safety and handling practices.
