💼 About This Role

You'll lead the FinCrime Core team, overseeing Ebury's AML platform for sanctions screening and transaction monitoring. Your work ensures regulatory compliance with FCA and EU directives while processing millions of requests reliably. This role offers hands-on technical leadership in a critical, regulated domain.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Set 0–6 month technical roadmap for AML Screening and Transaction Monitoring
• Drive architecture decisions for event-driven systems (Kafka, SNS/SQS)
• Ensure reliable integrations with third-party providers
• Manage team delivery, sprint planning, and project health

📋 Requirements

• Proven experience as an Engineering Manager or similar leadership role
• Deep understanding of software development methodologies and best practices
• Recent hands-on experience (within last 5 years) as a Tech Lead or Senior+ Engineer
• Experience with agile development processes
