💼 About This Role

You'll lead SDR software development for small satellite platforms, implementing embedded C/C++ software on LEON3 processors. You'll own system integration and debugging, collaborating with FPGA engineers for space communication interfaces.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Develop embedded C/C++ software for LEON3 processors on Xilinx Kintex UltraScale
• Architect FPGA and LEON softcore processor autoboot mechanisms
• Integrate and test SpaceWire and other communication interfaces
• Manage software requirements traceability and system integration

📋 Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship or permanent residency required
• 5+ years embedded software development experience
• C/C++ proficiency for embedded systems (softcore processor environments preferred)
• RTEMS RTOS experience on LEON3

✨ Nice to Have

• Background in Space or Defense industries
• Experience with Ethernet and CAN interfaces in FPGA environments
• Familiarity with CCSDS, ETSI, ECSS space protocol standards
