Description

You will be responsible for power and signal distribution design for Autonomous Vehicles, working cross-functionally to gather details, generate system diagrams, electrical schematics, wiring harness diagrams, and assist with assembly and build documentation. You will also create detailed component and system qualification, validation test plans, and perform testing. This role involves working within an interdisciplinary team to troubleshoot and fix electrical issues in prototype vehicles.

Requirements

• 6+ years experience in electrical engineering
• Ability to read schematics and assembly drawings
• Lab equipment experience with power supplies, oscilloscopes, etc.
• Familiarity with wire harness design process and tools
• Experience with vehicle communication networks (CAN, CAN-FD, Automotive Ethernet, LIN)

Responsibilities

• Deep understanding of system architecture for AV electrical design
• Troubleshoot and fix electrical issues in prototype vehicles
• Generate system diagrams, schematics, wiring harness diagrams
• Create qualification and validation test plans and oversee testing
• Support EMC certification testing and develop electrical DFMEA
