Description

You will own mobile-first and web-based product experiences for tactical operations, from discovery to delivery. Lead user research with end users in operational contexts and collaborate with engineers, product managers, and autonomy system experts to shape design direction. Your work directly impacts mission-critical workflows in a fast-paced defense environment.

Requirements

• 5+ years experience in product design, UX, or HCI with proven high-craft, technically informed solutions
• Proven experience designing mobile-first product experiences with deep understanding of mobile patterns
• Self-directed work style with ability to operate autonomously
• Experience designing for operational or tactical contexts requiring precision and speed

Responsibilities

• Own mobile-first product experiences for tactical operations alongside web workflows from discovery to delivery
• Lead discovery and validation through direct engagement with end users in operational contexts
• Proactively identify design opportunities and drive work autonomously
• Shape product design integration with engineering and product management through close collaboration
• Ensure work is easy to follow with journey maps, workflows, high fidelity mockups, and documentation
