💼 About This Role

You'll architect and own the data infrastructure backbone powering Data Engineering and ML teams at Archer, an aerospace company building electric vertical takeoff aircraft. Your goal is a seamless self-service environment where data scientists run JupyterHub, Ray clusters, and Trino queries without hardware concerns. You'll drive zero-manual-touch GitOps automation using ArgoCD and Terraform.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Architect and manage lifecycle of Trino, Ray, and JupyterHub on Kubernetes.
• Drive GitOps automation with ArgoCD and Terraform for stateful data environments.
• Build high-cardinality monitoring with VictoriaMetrics and Vector.
• Maintain and optimize MLflow for model tracking and compute integration.

📋 Requirements

• Data infrastructure experience scaling databases and Ray clusters on Kubernetes.
• Senior leadership with proven on-call incident response and automation.
• Go or Python proficiency to extend Kubernetes Operators or automate workflows.
• U.S. citizenship or permanent residency for ITAR compliance.
