💼 About This Role

You'll join the harnessing design team to create wiring diagrams and layout drawings for spacecraft harnessing. You will define interfaces between subsystems and use CAD tools to route harnessing in 3D. This internship offers hands-on experience with hardware heading to space.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design flight and test harnessing
• Create wiring diagrams, block diagrams, schematics, and layout drawings
• Define interfaces between different subsystems
• Route harnessing in 3D using CAD programs
• Select design components based on voltage, power, frequency, and data-rate

📋 Requirements

• Pursuing B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in mechatronics or electrical engineering
• Interest in spacecraft systems and subsystems
• Familiar with power and data transmission concepts

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with Zuken or other harness design software
• Experience with connectors and wire types including MIL circular and D-Sub/microD
• Experience with 3D CAD software like Solidworks
