💼 About This Role

You'll partner with development and real estate teams to deliver utility-scale renewable energy and data center projects. You'll oversee regulatory, permitting, interconnection, and M&A matters as the internal legal lead. This role reports directly to the Deputy General Counsel in an individual contributor capacity with frequent executive interaction.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Structure and derisk projects during development phase.
• Act as internal legal lead on M&A transactions.
• Negotiate material project contracts for renewable energy and digital campuses.
• Support permitting strategy and execution for development assets.

📋 Requirements

• JD from an accredited law school
• Current license to practice law in a U.S. state
• Minimum 5-7 years of relevant energy experience
• Ability to work hybrid in office minimum 3 days per week

✨ Nice to Have

• In-house counsel experience preferred
• Experience with data center development
• Experience with power purchase and energy supply agreements
