You'll define and mature the organization's disaster recovery posture across cloud infrastructure, working with SRE, platform, and engineering teams to implement resilient architectures. You'll lead the disaster recovery roadmap, driving adoption of active-active and multi-region patterns for critical systems. 🎯 What You'll Do

• Define disaster recovery standards and best practices across infrastructure.
• Design resilient, fault-tolerant systems for multi-region and active-active architectures.
• Lead the disaster recovery roadmap balancing feasibility, cost, and risk.
• Operationalize testing strategies including game days and chaos testing.

📋 Requirements

• 8+ years in cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, or SRE.
• Deep understanding of disaster recovery concepts (RTO/RPO, blast radius, failure domains).
• Proven experience with multi-region and multi-AZ architectures.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and Kubernetes-based platforms.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with GCP or Azure.
• Familiarity with global traffic management and service mesh patterns.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or Pulumi.
