Description

You will design and operate rocket engine test stands for Terran R engines and stages, collaborating with a team of engineers and technicians to build, modify, and operate test facilities. Your work directly contributes to flight qualification and readiness.

Requirements

• Background in mechanical or aerospace engineering
• Experience with large-scale complex systems (propulsion, aviation, automotive, etc.)
• Hands-on experience with test facility design and operations
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly operational environment
• Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Design advanced propulsion test stands including 3D modeling, fluids, structural, and thermal analysis
• Create fabrication drawings, fluid P&IDs, component lists, and detailed work instructions
• Supervise construction, commissioning, and initial operations of test facilities
• Conduct daily test operations, maintenance, and commissioning activities
• Solve technical problems across broad ranges of timeframe and complexity
