Description

You will lead the Platform area within TechOps at Monzo, building observability, resilience, and technical foundations for internal tools. This involves leading a team of specialists, setting technical direction for monitoring and governance, and driving automation to enable confident change at scale.

Requirements

• Proven experience leading a platform engineering, IT operations, or SaaS management team
• Strong people leader with track record of coaching technical talent
• Technical experience with SaaS platform management, configuration, and security
• Experience building monitoring, observability, and alerting capabilities
• Experience working with Security, Compliance, or Legal teams on technical controls

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of platform specialists, fostering technical excellence
• Set direction for monitoring, alerting, and reporting capabilities
• Define governance standards for configuration changes across SaaS estate
• Build resilience and high availability into core enterprise tools
• Own strategy for IT asset systems and legal hold/eDiscovery processes
