Description

Lead a team of Data Scientists to drive data-informed growth across SoFi's SIPS businesses, including Checking and Savings, Invest, Credit Card, Protect, and Lantern. You will collaborate with senior leaders to set priorities, execute high-impact projects, and mentor team members using the latest AI/ML technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a technical field
• 7+ years Data Science or Software Engineering experience
• 3+ years management experience
• Experience with Airflow and DBT to build Data Pipelines in Snowflake
• Strong programming skills in SQL and Python

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of Data Scientists supporting multiple business lines
• Collaborate with senior leaders to identify and prioritize Data Science initiatives
• Set high standards for quality and on-time delivery
• Recruit, grow, and retain top talent
• Mentor data scientists on best practices and technical decisions
