Description

You will be building and assembling composite components for the Neutron Launch Vehicle structure at Rocket Lab's Space Structures Complex. Tasks include lamination, vacuum bagging, oven/autoclave curing, and integration of mechanical hardware.

Requirements

• Knowledge or experience in composite/lamination (I) or 2+ years composite (II)
• High School Diploma or GED
• Basic Math Skills (I) or Intermediate Math Skills (II)
• Familiarity with drilling, laminating, and assembly prints
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and precision measurement instruments

Responsibilities

• Assembly of structures including setup, bonding, and fastener applications
• Laminate assemblies by determining proper placement of composite materials
• Prepare parts for bagging, including placement of bleeders, thermocouples, probes, and vacuum connections
• Vacuum bag processing, bonding, and oven/autoclave curing
• Integration of mechanical hardware
